Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst responsible for revenue-related and operating expense analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial decision-making. Drives month-end close in partnership with accounting, develops a 12-month rolling forecast, assists with annual budgets and re-forecasts, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial advisory and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency in the financial reporting process through new templates, systems, and data relationships; reconciles general ledger data to sub-ledger/system data; develops presentations for executive management and external entities; develops planning/reporting tools using current and new systems; identifies financial risks and recommends mitigation while ensuring regulatory compliance; performs ad hoc financial analyses as directed and supports special projects; maintains confidentiality of information and contributes to a positive team environment. Skills emphasized include analytical thinking, problem solving, customer service, teamwork, initiative; and technical capabilities with Advanced Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot), SQL, ERP systems, and dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance Analysis or Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, accounting, finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel including Power Query and Power Pivot (preferred)
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries (preferred)
- Experience with ERP and financial reporting applications (preferred)
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Travel 0-10% as required
