Senior Financial Analyst, Retailer

Senior Financial Analyst for retailer partnerships within Instacart’s Strategic Finance team. Own end-to-end financial modeling for retailer partnerships, including pricing strategies, incentive structures, unit economics, and ROI analyses with scenario and sensitivity testing. Partner with Retail Partnerships and Deal Desk to translate strategy into clear financial outcomes; support negotiations with data-driven recommendations and crisp trade-off frameworks. Build and maintain driver-based forecasts for a portfolio of retailer deals; establish KPIs, track performance vs. plan, and surface insights that improve margin and payback. Design and standardize scalable templates, playbooks, and dashboards that streamline diligence, approval, and post-close performance management. Create executive-ready materials—models, memos, and presentations—that distill complex analyses into clear narratives and decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Accounting, Revenue Operations, and Legal to ensure operational feasibility, policy alignment, and accurate financial treatment.
