Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Build and maintain regular financial and management reports for leadership and operational teams. Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into practical recommendations. Support budget and forecast development while monitoring actual performance against targets. Model revenue and costs under the Aged Care Act 2025, including Support at Home classification levels. Work across finance and operational systems to ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and reportability. Partner with operational leaders to apply financial analysis to real service delivery concerns and improve reporting processes and controls.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- Experience as a financial analyst within the education sector
- Strong reporting experience, including the ability to build and run financial and operational reports independently
- Working knowledge of aged care and Support at Home under the Aged Care Act 2025, including funding levels, classifications, and service categories
- Understanding of the core systems, software, and CRMs commonly used in aged care
- Hands-on experience with Xero and Power BI
- A sound grasp of operational matters and the ability to apply financial analysis to real operational issues and concerns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance audiences
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- The right to work unrestricted in Australia
- National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months) or willingness to apply for one
- NDIS Workers Screening Check or willingness to apply for one
