Job Summary
Support the annual business planning process by ensuring adherence to established timelines and methodologies for operating plans and periodic financial forecasts. Manage monthly accrual processes, forecast updates, and weekly budget tracking dashboards to monitor spending and financial performance. Partner with Operations, R&D, and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance month-end close procedures, perform variance analyses, and prepare operational performance reports. Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate operating expenses, identify cost optimization opportunities, and develop financial models to improve forecasting accuracy for Capital Expenditure projects. Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and scenario modeling as required by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of four years of progressive experience in Finance and/or Accounting, preferably in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of capital expenditures (CapEx) and fixed asset accounting
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools
- Experience with Hyperion and Anaplan
