Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst at Avanta Residential (Invesco Real Estate and Hunt Companies platform) supporting project execution across real estate investments. Responsibilities include building and maintaining complex financial models for acquisitions, development, redevelopments, and joint ventures (including mezzanine financing and preferred equity), conducting advanced underwriting and due diligence, researching rental income, operating expenses, taxes, and market comparables, and leveraging AI-assisted workflows to enhance analysis. Additional duties cover market research across SFR, BTR, multifamily, land, and mixed-use assets; preparing investment committee materials; supporting LOI submissions and project structuring; and contributing to annual business plans and asset management analyses. Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with CoStar is a plus; strong communication skills and the ability to operate with ambiguity and drive AI-enabled investment workflows are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (MBA preferred)
- 2-5 years of work experience in real estate, real estate development, infrastructure, investment banking, lending, investment management, or commercial real estate brokerage, or a related field
- 2+ years of Excel modeling experience for financial analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis
- 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning and analysis
- 2+ years of experience with multifamily transactions and operations
