Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst role with high visibility and direct exposure to senior leadership, focusing on forecasting and financial strategy in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities include analyzing and forecasting sales performance across core business units (media content, online education, consulting services, events, and digital products), developing and maintaining financial models and dashboards to track KPIs, pricing effectiveness, CAC, ROI, and overall health; supporting revenue planning and strategic decision-making with scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis; delivering monthly/quarterly reporting packages and investor-ready presentations; collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to evaluate funnel performance and channel efficiency; translating complex data into actionable insights and presenting to leadership to guide growth; partnering with teams to provide actionable insights for strategic investments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, consulting or corporate planning
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant degree program is required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Must have proven ability to build and manage financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards using Excel or Google Sheets
- Must have a strong understanding of sales operations, lead funnels, customer segmentation, and pricing optimization
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is highly desirable
- Experience working in high-growth/startup environments is ideal
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders are required
- A self-starter mindset with a bias toward action, problem-solving, and delivering high-impact insights in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting is ideal
- Prior experience in digital media, consulting, ecommerce, or a startup environment is a plus
- Familiarity with Valuetainment’s content, mission, and audience - or a passion for entrepreneurial media is ideal
- Experience working with CRM or sales platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or other pipeline management tools is preferred
- Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
