Job Summary
Own recurring financial reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery while managing monthly and quarterly cycles end-to-end. Build and maintain forecast models using established methodologies, driving ad hoc analysis that informs state and product-level growth strategy decisions. Establish process improvements to streamline workflows and maintain data integrity across all reporting tools. Track key metrics tied to market expansion and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine forecasting standards. Report directly to the Director of FP&A, supporting Kin's growth strategy through data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience
- Experience with forecast modeling and recurring reporting
- Demonstrated proficiency building and maintaining financial models in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience owning recurring reporting cycles (monthly/quarterly) with minimal oversight
- Ability to translate financial data into analysis that informs strategic decisions
- Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders outside of Finance
- Proficiency with financial planning and reporting tools (e.g., Workday Fianncials, Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Anaplan, or similar)
- Insurance, fintech, or high-growth startup experience
