Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Manage daily sales and order reporting for the Americas region, including populating monthly actuals, reconciling data in the IMI reporting tool, and consolidating sales and profit flashes for senior management. Analyze manufacturing cost trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions while acting as a strategic partner with plant managers and supply chain leaders. Enhance financial processes through automation and continuous improvement, providing weekly and monthly reports to internal and external departments. Establish budgets with cost center owners, review monthly performance, and assist with forecast and budget presentation packages. Work in a hybrid environment with 2-3 days onsite weekly, reporting to the Finance Manager in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance from four-year College or University
- 5+ year of experience with budgeting, forecasting, accounting and/or financial reporting
- Work Environment: Open to candidates based near Denver, CO or Chicago, IL or Detroit, MI
- Hybrid (2 -3 days onsite/weekly)

- Ability to work with confidential data
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with particular emphasis placed on proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, nested formulas, etc.) and Access
- Experience with JDE, Oracle, SAP or similar platform applications (and associated implementations)
- Experience with COGNOS, Hyperion or similar financial consolidating and reporting systems
