Job Summary
Manage daily sales and order reporting for the Americas region, preparing monthly actuals for IA Americas and reconciling data in the IMI reporting tool. Generate insights from forecast trends to support Finance leadership and validate data entry across sites for weekly, monthly, and quarterly submissions. Analyze manufacturing cost trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions while enhancing financial processes through automation. Act as a strategic partner with plant managers and supply chain leaders to consolidate sales and profit flashes, compile reporting packages for senior management, and distribute various reports internally and externally. Establish budgets with cost center owners, review monthly performance, and assist with variance analysis and forecast presentation packages.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance from four-year College or University
- 5+ year of experience with budgeting, forecasting, accounting and/or financial reporting
- Detail oriented with proven accuracy
- Ability to work with confidential data; discretion is a must
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with particular emphasis placed on proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, nested formulas, etc.) and Access
- Work Environment: Open to candidates based near Denver, CO or Chicago, IL or Detroit, MI
- Hybrid (2 -3 days onsite/weekly)
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing/cost accounting experience preferred
- Familiar with a variety of accounting concepts and practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with JDE, Oracle, SAP or similar platform applications (and associated implementations) preferred
- Experience with COGNOS, Hyperion or similar financial consolidating and reporting systems
