Job Summary
Lead monthly P&L analysis and reporting for Outbound Delivery, covering transportation expenses, delivery labor, carrier costs, fuel, and related cost drivers. Support annual budgets and monthly forecasts by analyzing shipment volume, route productivity, delivery density, service levels, carrier mix, and operating trends. Build and deliver financial and operational reporting that measures cost per order, cost per stop, cost per mile, on-time delivery, productivity, and network efficiency. Prepare monthly business review summaries that clearly communicate variances, risks, opportunities, and actions affecting Outbound Delivery performance. Analyze delivery optimization initiatives, including route productivity, carrier strategy, network changes, service models, and cost-to-serve opportunities. Enhance reporting through finance systems, business intelligence tools, automation, and data quality improvements. Partner with Supply Chain leaders to identify trends, evaluate financial trade-offs, and influence decisions that improve cost, service, productivity, and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive finance or related experience
- 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience
- 1+ year of Power BI experience
- 1+ year of SQL experience
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or master's degree in a related field
- Experience translating large, complex data sets into business insights using tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, or Alteryx to automate manual reporting and improve efficiency
- Experience supporting transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations
