Job Summary

Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics, and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's strategic and operational needs. Prepare, analyze, and communicate key financial information while delivering decision support for executive caregivers. Perform general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis, and chargemaster maintenance. Assist with budget preparation, review for compliance, and financial planning processes. Retrieve and manipulate complex information using database tools such as SAS and Teradata. Consult with all levels of management regarding initiatives, policies, and procedures. Perform special projects related to research, forecasting, and conflict resolution. Work remotely from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a requirement to reside in Cleveland, Ohio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
  • four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
  • Master's degree
  • three years of experience
  • Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience
  • three years of experience
  • Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
  • Ability to lead projects and people
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment
  • Candidates must reside in Cleveland, Ohio to be considered for this role
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
  • Ability to move up to 25 lbs
  • obtain an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Revenue and finance experience
  • Experience in hospital systems and revenue cycle exposure
  • Technical skills such as Oracle, Excel, Microsoft Office, Snowflake and EPIC
  • Revenue Cycle management experience
