Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct financial analysis, planning, and reporting by managing balance sheet cash accounts, reviewing month-end and year-end entries, and reconciling multi-currency bank accounts. Liaise with banks to optimize interest on excess cash, organize financial audit meetings, and prepare expense allocation schedules for insurance and pensions. Coordinate fund transfers between Paris and NY offices, enter rent invoices, and distribute monthly reports to senior management. Oversee internal controls by approving bank reconciliations, managing escrow transactions, and ensuring trial balances net to zero. Execute ad hoc projects, prepare annual expense budgets, and maintain SAM.gov registrations and LEI renewals. Requires 5-7 years of experience, advanced Excel and BI skills, and a hybrid schedule of at least three in-person days in the NY office.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Business Intelligence knowledge
- Financial Modeling experience
- BA or BS in Finance or related field
- 5-7 years of progressive experience
- General knowledge of Modified Cash Basis
- Strong analytic skills
- Detail-oriented and a self-starter
- Strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
- Ability to collect and summarize data to prepare clear and concise reports
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Hybrid schedule (minimum of 3 days per week in-person in the NY Office)
