Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital responsible for maintaining and performing complex data analysis related to the clinical or financial performance of the assigned entity or hospital and/or contractual relationship. Independently compiles and reports information to Financial Accounting, Internal Audit, Revenue Cycle, department and entity management, and administration. Develops and advances best practices and tools for business analysis; highlights performance issues, identifies problems, and researches solutions with recommendations to management. Produces statistical information in graphical formats and supports annual operating budgets and monthly dashboards of key indicators and external benchmarks; may include payer reimbursement analysis and financial reconciliation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, business administration or related field
- Three years of financial, budget or cost accounting analysis experience required; experience in a health care environment preferred
