Job Summary
Lead operating expense (OPEX) planning, forecasting, and reporting across the NPAT pillar of HPE Networking, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on business performance and strategic priorities. Manage operating expense budgets across multiple organizations and cost centers, partnering with business leaders to monitor spending, optimize resource allocation, and improve financial performance. Perform detailed variance analysis, recommend corrective actions, and support workforce planning and headcount management activities. Prepare executive-level financial presentations and influence business decisions through financial analysis and scenario planning. Drive initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency, collaborating with Ops/systems teams to automate manual reporting and enhance data quality.
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
- Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst
- Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical skills
- Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
