Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst, Global Commercial Strategy Organization Global Medical Affairs will provide strategic financial leadership for Innovative Medicine Global Medical Affairs across Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Cardiopulmonary, supporting investment decisions and execution of Worldwide Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs). The role partners with R&D and Commercial leadership to influence resource allocation, drive data-driven decision-making, and deliver insights to inform portfolio strategy. You will lead key financial processes (close, forecast, and business planning), develop analytics and reporting tools, standardize processes for scalability, and collaborate cross-functionally to align portfolio prioritization and enterprise initiatives. Strong executive communication and presentation skills, plus advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, are required to deliver insights to senior leadership and support strategic projects such as portfolio reviews and GOC-level analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or business experience
- Demonstrated financial analysis and business partnering skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior leadership
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and PowerPoint skills
