Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting and Policies

Job Summary
Support the implementation of complex IFRS accounting standards and disclosures, research guidance to provide timely interpretation on complex issues, and develop position papers for the Company's financial reporting. Maintain accurate working papers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support appropriate reporting, and conduct quarterly technical reviews of financial statements and public disclosures. Prepare and update financial policies impacting reporting, coordinate quarterly audit committee materials, and oversee supplemental reports for external disclosures. Actively pursue continuous improvement opportunities and provide customer service to all business levels. This role reports to the Director Finance, Accounting Standards & Policies within the CFO Organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- University degree MBA or Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proficient in Excel and Excel-based financial modeling
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills to obtain accurate and quality analytics
- Excellent communication skills (both Oral and Written) to communicate to relevant stakeholders
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, and under limited supervision
- Successful candidates will be required to provide documentation to prove their legal ability to work in the position during the onboarding process
Desired Qualifications
- Accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot considered an asset
- SAP skills considered an asset
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis considered an asset
