Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst who will partner with attorneys and finance leadership to shape pricing and budgeting for large matters. Responsibilities include developing task-based budgets and forecasts, responding to RFPs and complex pricing requests, defining pricing frameworks for litigation tasks, preparing risk/benefit analyses, overseeing matter budgets for large clients, delivering budget-to-actual reports and dashboards, and providing data-driven modeling and benchmarking to guide client spending and business development efforts. Requires strong Excel/SQL skills, experience with budgeting systems, and the ability to manage multiple assignments, communicate with clients and attorneys, and lead projects from inception to delivery. Hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days onsite in Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years of FP&A experience or related experience involving data analysis and substantial quantitative modeling and forecasting
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients including attorneys and management
- Experience with financial or budgeting systems
- Prior law firm experience is helpful, but not required
