Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst needed to support FP&A at CARFAX, focusing on budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and providing analytics to drive business decisions. Responsibilities include identifying key metrics tied to financial performance, creating ad-hoc analyses to improve ROI, identifying cost savings, working with large data sets to tell a data-driven story, supporting forecasts and long-range plans, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and working closely with Accounting during month-end. Requires 7+ years of experience, advanced Excel, financial modeling, P&L understanding, and proficiency with Cognos or Tableau. Position is 3 days per week in Centreville, VA (in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a financial analytics role
- B.S. in business, finance, data analytics or related field
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in financial modeling and P&L understanding
- Experience with visualization tools such as Cognos or Tableau
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
