Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct financial, statistical, and analytical studies to support short and long-term company goals. Analyze financial information, perform trend modeling, and execute what-if scenarios to assist in reaching strategic objectives. Prepare and analyze departmental income statements, assess deposit and loan product profitability, and partner with cost center owners on budget development, share/loan projections, and variance analysis. Deliver specialized subject matter expertise in complex budgetary and accounting functions while assembling data, preparing management reports, and presenting findings to leadership. Manage special project assignments as requested and monitor key performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate analytical and financial modeling skills with ability to prepare materials and presentations that communicate meaningful data and analysis
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of budget planning, expense monitoring, cash flow and financial management operations
- Strong analytical skills
- Must possess the ability to make quick decisions
- Strong attention to detail

- Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Must possess a high sense of urgency

- Excellent PC skills with a thorough knowledge of MS Excel (including macros), MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Ability to learn new software products
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
- Ability to work overtime, as needed
- Eligibility to be bonded
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MS SQL and MS Access
