Job Summary
Partner with multiple departments to curate information, deliver key insights, and provide strategic perspectives on financial planning, resource allocation, and operational performance. Build financial models and sensitivity analyses to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability for new growth initiatives. Lead monthly rolling forecasts, quarterly outlooks, and the annual budget process, analyzing variances to improve forecasting methods. Prepare materials for executive management to communicate company strategy and performance. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability through AI-driven solutions. This hybrid role in McLean, Virginia, supports the Early Learning Academies division as a strategic partner in driving informed business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of translating complex and fragmented data sets to meaningful insights and recommendations
- Independent and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment fueled by inorganic growth
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
- Minimum of 3 years' experience including financial modeling, planning and decision support
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- highly proficient in other Microsoft applications
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights, including OfficeConnect) & NetSuite
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Travel <10%
