Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst at Abbott’s Thoratec Switzerland GmbH in Zurich, responsible for acting as a trusted finance partner for cost centers, capital investments, projects, and inventory; leading annual budgeting and forecasting; monitoring performance and identifying opportunities; supporting capital planning and post-investment activities; ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls; contributing to month-end activities through journal entries and variance analysis; leveraging systems like SAP, Dodeca/Essbase, Excel, and Power BI; collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and strategic financial insights.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance (or similar)
- approximately 5+ years of experience
- at least 3 years of FP&A
- experience with SAP, Dodeca/Essbase, Excel and Power BI
- strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- ability to translate financial data into clear insights
- ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
- fluent English
