Job Summary
Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, including bank reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and account balance reconciliations. Prepare and submit tax declarations for VAT, income tax, and withholding taxes while managing MYDATA and ensuring client/vendor compliance with local regulations. Lead ERP integration efforts and develop internal accounting policies to strengthen controls. Generate periodic management reports covering P&L analysis, balance sheet reviews, and cash flow monitoring. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing historical trends and cost behavior to identify key variances. Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to management dashboards for strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Familiarity with Greek GAAP and IFRS
- Solid experience in year-end procedures and preparation of Financial Statements
- Previous experiences in preparing management reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software of Pylon
- Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel, and internet proficiency
- Excellent command of English
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from SOEL or ACCA or other professional body
