Job Summary
Senior Financial Accountant responsible for preparing financial statements and regulatory reports (including NCUA 5300 Call Reports), ensuring GAAP compliance, managing journal entries and reconciliations, supporting annual budgeting and variance analysis, assisting with internal and external audits, managing cash accounts and daily entries, and driving process improvements. Requires strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger/reporting, Excel, financial analysis, regulatory requirements, and ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5-8 years accounting experience
- banking or similar environment
