Job Summary
Own the ledger for an EMEA entity and prepare monthly management accounts, P+L, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure accurate performance reporting, KPI calculations, and cash flow forecasting while monitoring accounts payable, payroll, and receivables. Act as the liaison between local stakeholders, Group finance, and external auditors to manage statutory filings and control framework compliance. Handle forecast and budget cycles for local corporate overheads and proactively identify financial risks. This hybrid role supports a global marketing activation partner with over 55 countries, requiring ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications and experience in financial accounting or audit.
Required Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Newly qualified or some post qualification experience in financial accounting, audit, or shared services
- Experience with relevant financial systems; including familiarity with financial ledger and reporting platforms
- Good understanding of general accounting processes and controls
- Sufficient understanding of general accounting and tax matters to act as an effective liaison between subject matter experts and business colleagues
- Excellent communication skills - able to clearly and concisely articulate relevant information to stakeholders and quickly grasp information provided
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across functions and geographies
- Organized and proactive - able to work independently and as part of a team
- Naturally curious - keen to expand understanding and to appropriately question established practices
- The role can be based on a blended / hybrid basis from any of our UK offices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm would be ideal
