Job Summary
Senior Financial Accountant responsible for day-to-day accounting and compliance across five jurisdictions (AU, NZ, US, SG, IN). Hands-on role (~75%) handling month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, treasury, and compliance, with ~25% on process improvement, reporting support, and automation. Own general ledger maintenance in Xero, intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, tax obligations, audit readiness, and board reporting. Collaborate with Head of Finance across time zones; drive automation and AI-enabled workflows, including AI-assisted close commentary and variance narratives. multi-jurisdictional finance function support, budgeting/forecasts, variance analysis, external auditor coordination, and continuous improvement of finance tooling (Xero, Airwallex, Razorpay, and related platforms). Must hold a Bachelor’s degree and professional qualification (CA/CPA) or be actively working towards it; 2–4 years of relevant experience; strong technical accounting and communication skills. Required Qualifications

- 2–4 years in a financial accounting or management accounting role
- Strong technical accounting skills: month-end close, reconciliations, statutory compliance
- Proficiency with Xero and strong Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously across time zones
- Experience with AI tools for drafting reports, variance narratives, and automating month-end workflows
Desired Qualifications
