Job Summary
Senior Financial Accountant responsible for advanced accounting duties county-wide, including general ledger, fixed assets, financial reporting, and accounts receivable. Prepares annual financial statements for the ACFR, conducts cash flow analyses, coordinates grant programs, monitors budgets, processes payroll, and maintains internal records. Leads staff as needed, conducts performance evaluations, provides training, and ensures compliance with applicable standards and policies while collaborating with departments and leadership to optimize internal controls and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional accounting experience.
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above requirements.
