Job Summary
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple US legal entities, preparing journal entries, accruals, and period-end adjustments while managing intercompany eliminations and minority interest adjustments. Oversee project accounting for percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, maintain job cost ledgers, and reconcile project actuals to budgets. Ensure all activities comply with US GAAP standards by preparing audit-ready schedules and acting as the primary India-side contact for audit queries. Prepare management reporting packs including P&L, balance sheets, and variance commentary, while supporting budget vs. actuals and forecast cycles. Lead or support the migration of controllership processes from US teams into the GCC, developing SOPs, process maps, and RACI frameworks for transitioned workstreams.
Required Qualifications
- CA Inter / CPA / MBA Finance from a reputed institution
- 8–12 years of progressive finance experience with a strong controllership or technical accounting focus
- Prior experience supporting US entities from an India GCC or shared services environment
- Deep working knowledge of US GAAP — revenue recognition (ASC 606), project accounting, consolidation
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity close, intercompany reconciliation, and consolidation
- Strong ERP proficiency — NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication for senior US stakeholder interaction
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Trimble / Vista ERP
- Background in construction, environmental services, or project-based contract businesses
- Prior experience leading F&A transitions or GCC process migrations
- Big 4 or mid-tier audit/consulting background with F&A transformation exposure
