Job Summary
Develop organic and inorganic growth strategies while managing financial support and oversight for the Wealth Management Division. Execute initiatives to achieve strategic objectives by creating recurring financial reporting packages, scorecards, and key performance indicators. Conduct complex analysis of business performance, profitability, and growth initiatives, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, pricing modeling, and capital management. Provide financial expertise for acquisition, divestiture, and strategic partnership evaluations through due diligence and valuation analysis. Partner with leadership to design incentive compensation programs and present forecasts and recommendations to executive management. Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance, banking, wealth management, strategic planning, or related disciplines
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, management, board of directors, other employees in the organization, and the general public
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statistics
- Ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations and strategic direction
- Ability to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projects
- Ability to effectively interpret, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, communicate and follow-through
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives
- Practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies
- Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information
- Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes
- Knowledge of accounting and the associated rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Wealth Management business drivers, including assets under management, fee-based revenue, trust and fiduciary services, investment services, and private banking operations
- Expert proficiency level Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting advisor-based businesses, fee-based revenue models, fiduciary services, trust operations, investment management, brokerage, or private banking businesses
- Power BI or other visualization experience
