Senior Finance Manager, Surgery Canada

Job Summary
Lead full financial performance management and P&L accountability for Surgery Canada, acting as the primary financial co-pilot to the Canada President and Surgery Americas leadership. Govern commercial and strategic investments to ensure ROI discipline while driving transparency and financial integrity across heterogeneous markets. Own all planning, forecasting, and performance management cycles, providing deep commercial insights on pricing, portfolio mix, and competitive dynamics. Ensure accurate statutory reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and maintain a robust SOX and internal control environment. Build and lead a high-performing finance organization, strengthening analytical capabilities and harmonizing reporting with global standards. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, and Global Functions to shape resource allocation and accelerate business results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience in complex, matrixed organizations
- Proven experience leading large, multi-country regional P&Ls with significant financial and compliance risk
- Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering compliant business results
- Deep expertise in FP&A, commercial finance, forecasting, portfolio management, and business analytics
- Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, GAAP/IFRS, SOX, and internal control frameworks
- Experience with enterprise finance systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced analytics and reporting tools
- Proven people leader with strong executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Capable leader of talent who can strengthen succession plans, and create development opportunities that advance talent, engagement, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
