Job Summary
Senior Finance Manager responsible for end-to-end statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and capital/liquidity oversight within RLAM's Financial Reporting & Control team. Lead core accounting processes, manage a team, partner with CFO and senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in controls and systems. Key duties include owning statutory accounts under UK GAAP, coordinating FCA regulatory reporting, ICARA activities, capital and liquidity management, planning and delivering board/committee reporting, overseeing audits, and contributing to strategic initiatives such as M&A and new entity set-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA preferred)
- Strong technical accounting background (UK GAAP, IFRS knowledge advantageous)
- Proven experience leading statutory reporting, audit and FCA regulatory returns within asset management or financial services
- Hands-on ICARA, capital and liquidity management experience, including stress testing and scenario analysis
- Audit background gained in practice strongly preferred
- Demonstrated people-leadership capability, managing teams through complex deadlines
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, confident operating at senior stakeholder and Board level
