Job Summary
Partner with the Director of Commercial and Senior Director for Genomic Workflow Automation SBS to drive growth-focused analytics, improve investment decision making, and provide actionable financial insights for business strategy. Oversee direct reports supporting PCR Workflow SBS Marketing finance activities, including forecasting, investment analysis, and strategic project support. Spearhead business analytics efforts covering pricing, instrument-conconsumable attachment, customer health, and product portfolio performance. Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for commercial initiatives, pricing strategies, and OEM partnerships. Drive weekly business performance reviews, monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, and annual Operating Plan processes. Lead process improvement initiatives across finance reporting and analytics to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive finance, including financial planning & analysis, reporting and analytics
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing decision making in a matrixed environment
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, including experience evaluating growth investments and business performance drivers
- Experience leading forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes in a complex organization
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex business problems independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise and actionable recommendations
Desired Qualifications
- Systems experience, including Excel, Hyperion Planning, EDW, Power BI, and other business intelligence or financial reporting tools
