Senior Finance Manager, Kevlar

Job Summary

Serve as the senior finance partner to Kevlar business unit leaders, driving financial performance, forecasting, and customer profitability analysis. Lead financial planning, monthly business reviews, and operational reporting for executive and Board meetings while developing standardized KPIs and predictive models. Ensure all FP&A processes, systems, and reporting meet SOX 404 requirements by establishing controls and supporting disclosure evidence. Partner with Controllership, Internal Audit, and IT to harmonize financial systems and processes during acquisition integration, including due diligence, valuation support, and post-merger KPI alignment. Participate in the greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation to optimize finance modules and automate reporting across newly acquired entities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A, commercial finance, or business finance experience
  • Leadership roles in multi-business, manufacturing, or high-growth environments
  • Strong experience with customer profitability, pricing strategy, forecasting, and commercial decision support
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a SOX-compliant control environment
  • Experience integrating newly acquired companies, including systems, processes, reporting, and KPI alignment
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, data lakes, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP environments
  • Experience building automated reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop finance talent
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights
  • Ability to operate effectively in a PE-backed or rapidly scaling company
  • Must be able to travel periodically to manufacturing locations and integration sites
