Senior Finance Executive

Job Summary
Manage full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Review supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment documents to ensure compliance with internal controls, while recording and monitoring project-related costs for accurate allocation. Prepare monthly management reports and schedules, perform project profitability analysis, and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Liaise with project teams, external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and Bursa Malaysia requirements. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience with a degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
- Strong understanding of full-set accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders across different levels
Desired Qualifications
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Experience in property development, construction, or project-based industries
- Exposure to project accounting, project cost monitoring, and project profitability analysis
- Mandarin proficiency
