Job Summary
Senior Finance Consultant (FP&A) at Limelight focusing on leading client engagements with CFOs and FP&A teams to design, build, and operationalize budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and reporting workflows. Responsibilities include acting as primary finance advisor, leading workshops with finance leaders, translating Excel-heavy processes into scalable FP&A workflows, designing annual budgets and rolling forecasts, driver-based revenue models, workforce planning, variance analysis, board-ready reporting, and ensuring adoption of solutions. Requires 7+ years in FP&A/finance, strong client-facing experience, advanced financial modeling in Excel, and experience with FP&A tools/ERPs; Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; CPA/CFA nice to have. Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (onsite). The role is senior-level, client-facing, and involves collaboration with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to shape FP&A implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required)
- 7+ years of FP&A, finance, or finance consulting
- Prior client-facing experience (consulting, advisory, or external-facing finance role)
- Advanced Excel/financial modeling
- Experience with FP&A tools or ERPs
- Comfortable leading projects without detailed instructions
- Nice to have CPA or CFA (optional)
