Senior Finance Business Partner

Job Summary
Partner with Sales VPs to drive profitable growth through financial insight, scenario planning, and data-backed commercial decision-making. Own full P&L accountability for Energy and AP Actives, leading annual planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis to optimize margins and portfolio mix. Manage the end-to-end financial health of these divisions, including rebate process ownership, JDE setup, monthly accruals, and releases. Challenge stakeholders on pricing strategy, volume, and capital allocation while delivering actionable insights on revenue drivers and cost structures. Lead demand input for operating plans and establish global Sales Incentive Plans with robust tracking mechanisms. Present clear, cohesive commentary linking financials and operational insights to guide executive decision-making across all four divisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 7+ years work experience
- 3+ years work experience in a finance business partnering role
- Experience working cross-functionally and partnering with business stakeholders
- Proficient in Power BI
- Proficient or expert level in MS Excel, including pivot tables
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Full-time employment
- Based at the Porto Hub
- Minimum 3 days per week in the office
- Occasional international travel to other Elementis sites as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an international manufacturing/industrial environment
- Qualification in Accounting pertinent to the country in question (or in-progress) for Finance Analysts
- Statistical knowledge
- Understanding of standard cost accounting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong data financial modelling skills
- Commercial insights
- Strong strategic analysis of financial information to derive data-driven insights
- Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables
- Proficiency in Power BI and visualisation best practices
