Job Summary
Partner with product managers, leaders, and commercial teams to provide top-line analytics, including customer sales trends, weekly and monthly projections, and bookings and funnel reviews. Collaborate with pricing and costing teams to drive margin expansion and improve overall business profitability. Assist in assembling weekly and monthly forecasts, financial reports, and annual budget setting while driving data analysis, ad hoc solutions, and business case development for key projects. This role supports the Cell Culture Media Product team and leadership in planning, reporting, and analyzing sales, orders, and standard margin. The position reports to the Senior Director of Finance and is located in Marlborough, MA or Logan, UT as an on-site role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- A minimum of five (5) years of financial work experience
- Experience developing forecasts & operating plans
- Experience leading business/finance reviews
- Ability to successfully drive cross-functional project improvements within broader business operations
- Ability to work with big data
- Experience pulling out important facts, problems, trends, and presenting key findings
- Experience working across multiple functions and regions
- Ability to operate and navigate within a matrixed environment
- Strong influencing skills across business functions
- Confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend positions
- On-site role in Marlborough, MA or Logan, UT
