Senior Finance Analyst- Customer Platform Finance

Job Summary
Manage reporting, planning, and forecasting for Canadian Banking and centralized Practices under Customer Platforms. Lead support for CBTS accrual processes, reconciliations, and P&L analysis by initiative type. Conduct deep dives on technology expenses, resource utilization, and charge-out rates to drive variance investigations and process optimization. Develop documentation for technology processes and allocate project and support base charges. Collaborate with CIO/SVP leadership to review monthly results, resolve exceptions, and enhance internal relationships across business units. Prepare financial packages for portfolio leads and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (Finance/Accounting/Economics)
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in finance and business cases
- Detailed knowledge of financial accounting processes and internal control structures
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to effectively synthesize issues
- Advanced analytical skills and strong ability to inter-relate issues
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines to meet all deliverables
- Ability to proactively follow up on identified issues and work toward resolution
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Strong inter-personal skills including consistent team player and strong relationship-building skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment as required
- Proven track record of value added customer service through initiative and creativity
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Power Pivot)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word
- Strong working knowledge of MS Power Point
- Strong working knowledge of Outlook
- Individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week
- Individuals are expected to be onsite more or less days in office as required by the business line
Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (Finance/Accounting/Economics preferred)
- Completed or working towards CPA, CFA or other accounting/financial designations
- Strong knowledge of Hyperion
- Strong knowledge of Essbase
- Strong knowledge of Oracle
