Job Summary
Senior Finance Analyst at Boeing Defence UK supporting cross-functional teams across UK programmes with financial operations, EVM-driven performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting to Senior Leadership. Responsibilities include full-cycle project accounting support, EAC processes, collaboration with Business Partners and cross-functional teams, preparation of variance analyses and mitigation plans, and development of performance metrics to standardize reporting across the Financial Analysis team. Opportunities for professional development and hybrid/virtual work depending on business needs; functional interaction with Programme Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working within an operations-facing finance team
- Business Partner to Operational Managers & Executives
- Self-starter with reporting drumbeats and processes
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) tools such as CSPR, COBRA and Open Plan
- Strong written and oral communication
- IT proficient (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Qualified Accountant (preferred)
- Experience in Financial Operations using EVM tool suites (preferred)
- Background in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance or Project (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, proactive environment
