Senior Finance/Accounting Automation Specialist

Job Summary
Map end-to-end finance processes across P2P, OTC, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation to identify repetitive, inefficient, or error-prone activities. Translate business requirements into clear automation logic and work with internal AI agents and IT to build reliable solutions for invoice matching, bank statement processing, and settlement. Test automation outputs, monitor process reliability, investigate issues, and train finance teams on new tools. Track improvements in manual effort, processing speed, and data accuracy while keeping documentation current. Support implementation across Shared Service Centre teams and shape the automation team's ways of working. This builder role focuses on practical use cases within an AI-first environment to reduce manual workload and enable higher-value activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with finance process improvement, ERP implementation, finance systems or automation projects
- Good understanding of accounting and finance processes, particularly P2P, OTC, invoicing, payments or reconciliation
- Ability to map processes, identify root causes and translate business needs into system requirements
- Experience working with finance teams and technical stakeholders
- Exposure to automation or AI tools and genuine interest in using them to improve daily work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Independent, self-driven approach — you're comfortable creating structure in an environment that is still evolving
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly to finance users
- Fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience from a Shared Service Centre
- Knowledge of NetSuite or another major ERP system
- Experience with emerging AI agents, workflow tools or automation platforms
- Background in consulting, finance transformation or ERP implementation
- Czech/Slovak
