Job Summary
Senior FileMaker Engineer will own performance and well-thought-out development decisions as the system moves to multi-site, collaborating with a manager, a senior-level developer, and an outside consultant. Based with the team in Grand Rapids, MI, the role focuses on architectural and schema-focused development, deep scripting, handling concurrent users across multiple sites, and working with JSON packages and transactional scripting in an enterprise-scale FileMaker environment. The position requires a track record of scalable design, data abstraction, and participation in code reviews within a collaborative team setting, with an emphasis on delivering MV(M)P-driven improvements and multi-site deployment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of FileMaker experience around scaled systems
- deep scripting capability
- architectural and schema-focused development
- experience with JSON packages and transactional scripting
- familiar with a team environment and code reviews
- working knowledge of iterative development and a minimal viable product approach
