Job Summary
Execute QA/QC tests on construction materials and building components per ASTM, ACI, and project control documents. Perform construction observations, document results, and maintain detailed records of inspections and test findings. Review specifications and plans, then communicate non-conforming tests or observations to the site project manager. Submit daily field reports documenting all test results and observations. Maintain and calibrate assigned equipment in accordance with applicable codes, including operating and caring for nuclear density gauge equipment per radiation safety policy. Requires four years of field experience, ACI Level I certification, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least four years of experience in the field
- Valid driver's license
- ACI Level I Certification
- High level of competency in the ability to read plans and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- ICC Soils Special Inspector Certification a plus
- Radiation safety training for the use of nuclear density gauges a plus
- NICET certification a plus
