Senior Field Technician - Telecommunications Power Systems

Job Summary
Assess AC and DC power risks, develop mitigation plans including arc flash protection, and write DMOPs adhering to customer and industry standards. Conduct on-site layouts, pull cables, and install or repair DC power equipment, batteries, and controllers per engineering documents. Perform battery testing, charging, and programming, completing quality checklists and site surveys independently. Supervise multiple sites, manage project inventory, mentor lower-level technicians, and escalate issues to the supervisor. Ensure timely job completion within budgeted man-hours while maintaining positive customer relations and enforcing safety protocols.

- Ensure timely job completion within budgeted man-hours
- Identify, communicate, and facilitate resolution of job issues (e.g., manpower, material, engineering, technical support, etc.) promptly
- Direct supervision and on-the-job training of field personnel
- Effectively delegate tasks and assignments
- Mentor lower-level installation technicians
