Senior Field Technician - Construction Materials Testing

Job Summary
Senior Field Technician responsible for performing soil and/or concrete testing, site observations, and data interpretation/reporting under supervision. You will operate, maintain and calibrate testing equipment, read drawings and specifications, observe site activities, and provide detailed data documentation and client communication. Requires 5 years MST experience and Auger Cast Piles experience, valid drivers license, travel up to 25%, and ability to work overtime/outdoors. Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a field technician/inspector in construction materials testing
- Auger Cast Piles experience
- Valid drivers license and reliable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to work off shifts and overtime
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to make discriminations in sound
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights
- Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: ACI certification
