Job Summary
Provide on-site support to merchants for the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of payment terminals. Diagnose connectivity and configuration issues while preparing service reports and maintaining documentation. Guide and support field technicians through on-the-job coaching to ensure consistent work quality and skills development. Escalate complex cases with relevant background information and communicate technical matters clearly to merchants. Plan daily field work according to assigned schedules and priorities, adhering to safety requirements and standard operating procedures. Requires minimum 2–3 years of hands-on payment terminal experience, a Class 3 driving license, and willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands‐on field experience in the payment terminal / POS industry
- Practical experience supporting payment terminals at merchant locations
- Good troubleshooting skills with electronic equipment and basic IT / networking
- Able to guide or support other technicians when required
- Able to work independently and cooperate within a team environment
- Comfortable with basic reporting and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clear spoken and written English
- Awareness of workplace safety practices
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or public holidays when required
- Able to carry out field duties in outdoor conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Ingenico and/or PAX terminals is an advantage
- Class 3 driving license is an advantage
