Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Transformer Substation Technician for a role involving extensive travel and field service work, focusing on transformer repair, testing, and maintenance with over 10 years required experience in substation work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, and physical
- Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 + lbs., climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work for extended periods including overtime, weekends and holidays with minimal notice
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in industrial maintenance, Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred
- Military experience is a plus
- NETA certification is a plus
- CDL Class A is required
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel on overnight, multi-day, out of town jobs
- Able to work regular overtime including nights, weekends and some holidays
