Job Summary
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, diesel, and related equipment. Diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and manage parts inventory, tools, and company equipment. Provide professional onsite customer support by communicating technical information clearly and working independently to manage priorities and customer expectations. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and other service personnel while maintaining accurate service documentation and reports. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card
- Completion of Driver Application for Employment
- Successful Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review
- Completion of required driver documentation, including: Driver Disclosure and Release Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement FMCSA Certificate of Awareness Driver Certificate of Violations Driver Statement of On-Duty Hours Road Test Documentation
Desired Qualifications
- 2–5 years of field service, mechanical, electrical, diesel, or industrial equipment experience
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment in a customer-facing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with diesel-powered equipment, pumps, motors, controls, or industrial systems
- Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective repairs with limited supervision
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and interpret technical documentation
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and mobile technology tools
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers and internal teams
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve complex field issues
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and professionalism when representing the company onsite
