Job Summary
Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites, performing proactive system troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance, manage parts inventory, and identify or correct safety issues involving both company and customer-owned assets. Drive to multiple locations while maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all required clearances such as TWIC and DISA. Work independently with minimal supervision to synthesize technical information and communicate solutions clearly to customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of technical work experience
- industrial or commercial process water experience
- Ability to obtain all required customer clearances, such as TWIC, DISA, etc.
- Clean driving record
- May have industry-specific license(s)
- Electrical, mechanical, diesel, and/or fusion experience depending on business unit
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices
- Customer service experience
- Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly
- Ability to use customer experiences and technical knowledge to develop solutions and achieve results, including in novel or unexpected situations
- Completion of Driver Application for Employment
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Driver Disclosure and Release
- Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
