Senior Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform onsite calibration, certification, preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on customer equipment while conducting mechanical testing and sensor calibrations. Collaborate with technical specialists to resolve complex problems and provide professional support to clients, responding promptly to service requests and escalations. Maintain accurate service records, manage vehicle stock and spare parts, and ensure all tools and test equipment remain safe and operational. Provide technical mentoring to Field Service Technicians and assist with training and onboarding. Requires a Queensland Electrical Work Licence, three years of field service experience, and an unrestricted driver's licence.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant electrical, mechanical, appliance servicing, instrumentation, or trade background
- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in field service, maintenance, calibration, or a related technical discipline
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a field-based workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, including regional and interstate locations when required
