Job Summary
In this safety-sensitive role, the Senior Field Service Technician will primarily be responsible for new installations, retrofitting, and repair of pressure and temperature transmitters and general process instrumentation at customer sites. Responsibilities include calibrating field instruments, troubleshooting process control equipment, performing diagnostics, designing mounting brackets, and providing customer training and assistance. Candidates must have over 5 years of relevant experience, expertise in field instrument calibration, and a solid understanding of process controls and electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a field service technician or instrumentation technician
- Driver's license in good standing
- Must maintain an excellent driving (DMV) record
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in the calibration of field instruments such as level, pressure, and temperature transmitters
- Working knowledge of process controls and instrumentation
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams – single phase, three phase, AC and DC
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems
- Strong knowledge of valve actuators including Electric, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic actuators
