Job Summary
Lead technical discussions with customers, partners, and vendors covering the Digital Airfield Solutions portfolio. Manage proposals for formal tenders and unsolicited bids while installing, commissioning, and calibrating electronic and control systems at customer sites. Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in fielded equipment, perform factory and site acceptance tests, and provide on-site and remote support including outside normal business hours. Complete detailed service reports documenting work performed and system history. Deliver technical training for customers and internal teams, including curriculum development. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing to resolve issues and improve products and processes. Travel 30-50% in North America. Fully remote in Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical background, especially with advanced electronic systems, systems integration, radar, laser, optical systems
- Proven record of liaising with US Military customer stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- 5 or more years of hands on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electronic or electromechanical systems
- Strong understanding of test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power meters
- Proven ability to troubleshoot system level issues involving hardware, software, and interfaces
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international assignments, sometimes on short notice
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and safely use specialized tools and equipment
- This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
